Health Test Results

Below you will find hip, elbow, CEA, CL and TNS test results for all dogs
bred/owned by us.

*** Note : since the release of the DNA test for Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA) early 2005, we have screened all of our adult breeding dogs.  Puppies with at least one DNA normal parent will not be puppy eye tested as it is impossible for them to be affected with CEA.  We will still periodically eye test our adult dogs for other inherited eye disease such as PRA and PLL.

From mid 2006 we are taking steps to DNA profile and certify all of our "clear by parentage" breeding dogs. This will mean disease testing some of our dogs that are shown as clear by parentage as their tested parents/grandparents etc are not profiled and therefore the clear by parentage status cannot be proven.

Note:
"Clear" = Clear either by parentage (certified) or by direct DNA test.
*Clear = Clear by parentage (not certified).
"Carrier" = Known Carrier by direct DNA test.
(Carrier) = Assumed carrier as produced DNA carrier offspring to DNA clear mate.
