Portia was born in South Australia and bred by Paula Wachtel.

She made the journey West at 8 weeks of age, and we are so happy to have her here!

Portia is an outgoing girl who loves to give lots of kisses. She has lovely bone and substance, good angulation, nice movement, a lovely head and the sweetest of faces!!
- but don't let that fool you for she is a little devil!
...in the nicest way  :)

Born in a litter of 6 pups, Portia was the last pup out and the only girl! Hence her name - as she was my "last chance" for a girl from a mating I had been waiting for for more than a year!

Portia is sired by a full brother to Grand Ch Tookurra Spirit Oth Nite, her dam goes back to the old Lindenbrae lines.  She will bring exciting new blood to our breeding program and no doubt a lot of fun too!

Portia easily completed her Australian Champion title before her 2nd birthday and has recently started trialling in agility, already picking up her novice jumping, snooker and gamblers titles, and with some very nice placings too! She has also commenced sheep work and will successfully achieved her HIC on 19/8/07.

Portia has had one litter of 7 and her kids have been doing very well in the ring thus far. The three in the showring are all class in group winners, with her son Winpara A Kinda Magik currently 3rd in Dogzonline Puppy of the Year (Border Collie). Two more babies will be seen in the agility rings when they are older and are already showing a lot of promise in their foundation training.

Portia is full of the joy of life and does everything with much gusto!! Her nickname of Miss Pushy Push suits her well - and we love her for it!
